e-Learning Community Portal in Malaysia

This Penang e-Learning Community Project is an offshoot of the existing SIPI (School-Industry Partnership Initiatives) program, which was initiated by the Basic Education Research Unit (UPPA), School of Educational Studies (PPIP), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and supported by the State Government of Penang. The Penang e-Learning Community is an electronic community with interest focussed mainly on e-learning. Its website facilitates the interaction between its members and also creates values and knowledge by linking them globally to other websites. Its project goals are to create an electronic community centre in the human resource development sector to stimulate collaboration and communication in e-learning; to provide a common platform where ideas and knowledge can be shared, stored and expanded; and to provide equality and accessibility to all to participate in e-learning.
